Who are the Friends?
The Friends of First Coast Opera are a dedicated group of volunteers who support the company in many essential ways, including:

Staffing the box office

Ushering at performances

Assisting with artist hospitality

Supporting fundraising events

Managing membership activities and publicity

Various other operations integral to the company’s success
Benefits of Being a Friend
Joining the Friends of First Coast Opera offers a meaningful way to:
🪭 Be hands-on in behind-the-scenes support of live opera
🪭 Connect with fellow arts enthusiasts and opera lovers
🪭 Gain early insight into upcoming productions and special events
Meetings are held based on the Opera's performance season, sometimes once a month, sometimes every other month, but always on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. at Marsh Creek Country Club on Anastasia Island.
