A favorite of opera fans worldwide, Carmen features some of opera's most well-known music and characters. FCO's most ambitious production to date, this company premiere will be led by conductor Curtis Tucker and stage director Mark Freiman (The Barber of Seville). From the fiery rhythms of the "Habanera" to the unforgettable "Toreador Song," experience the music, romance, and raw emotion that have captivated audiences for generations.

Ride the Opera Shuttle
The Friends of First Coast Opera have arranged FREE parking and door-to-door shuttle service for all Carmen ticket holders. Parking will be available at 180 Marine Street, St. Augustine, behind the Council on Aging. Two 14-passenger shuttles will provide round-trip service for each performance, beginning two hours before curtain.

🖼️ First Friday Art Walk
Make our Carmen matinee part of a full day celebrating the arts in America's oldest city. On the first Friday of every month, St. Augustine's distinguished art galleries host evening receptions featuring new exhibitions and opportunities to meet local artists. Visit the St. Augustine Art Association website for more information and a map of participating galleries in the historic district.

Begin with a matinee performance, savor dinner at one of St. Augustine's acclaimed restaurants, and conclude your evening immersed in the city’s illuminated streets, plazas, and waterfront.
Ticket holders are invited to join us in the Lewis Auditorium one hour before curtain for a complimentary pre-show talk, presented by Curtis Tucker, General & Artistic Director of First Coast Opera since 2014.
