What type of information do we collect?

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including location, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

How do we collect information?

When you conduct a transaction on one of our sites, as part of the process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address, and payment information. You will have to ability to opt-in or not to email communication and/or direct mail announcements.

The site also links to First Coast Opera’s pages on various social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. If you become a fan, follow us, or otherwise interact with First Coast Opera on these social networking sites, then we may be able to personally identify you because we may be able to see whatever information you make publicly available about yourself on that social networking site. By doing so, you expressly permit this use of your personal information by First Coast Opera.

Why do we collect personal information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the Services;
To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

How do we store, use, share, and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

Our company website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix’s data storage, databases, and general Wix applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Our ticket sales are managed by Neon One. Neon One does not sell or rent any of the personal data we collect or maintain. Neon One does not maintain or use any payment information beyond the immediate need to process a transaction. Neon One takes very seriously the security of the information we collect and maintain. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosures, we utilize physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect all of the information we collect and maintain, including any personal information you voluntarily provide. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide appropriate security for the information we collect and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

How do we communicate with our patrons?

We publish an e-newsletter through Constant Contact. Every published newsletter includes the ability to unsubscribe should you wish to.
We mail out 2 or 3 postcards throughout the season.
We make regular announcements on Facebook and other social media platforms.
