Meet Figaro, Jake Stamatis

Jake Stamatis is thrilled to make his First Coast Opera debut as Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia. His recent performances include covering Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with St. Petersburg Opera, Dancaïre in Carmen and covering Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with Sarasota Opera, The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance with Pacific Opera Project, and Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Gulfshore Opera.

 

Upcoming engagements include Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro with Sarasota Opera, Papageno in The Magic Flute with Mississippi Opera, and Sir Joseph Porter in HMS Pinafore with Pacific Opera Project. Stamatis, a native of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, is a graduate of Susquehanna University and Binghamton University.
