On Sunday, February 27, friends and supporters of First Coast Opera gathered for “An Evening of Arias,” the company’s annual Gala and Silent Auction. Hosted at Marsh Creek Country Club in Saint Augustine, the evening featured entertainment, food, and drink.
A program of opera and Broadway love songs were performed by Victoria Isernia and John Tibbets from Amelia Island, accompanied by Curtis Powell of Saint Augustine. The evening was overseen by Curtis Tucker, General and Artistic Director of First Coast Opera.
Local businesses and artisans contributing auction prizes included: Claude’s Chocolate, St. Augustine; Raintree Restaurant, St. Augustine; Cortesse's Bistro, St. Augustine; The Blue Hen Café, St. Augustine; The Fresh Market; Jackie Hird Photography, St. Augustine; Limelight Theatre, St. Augustine; Dr. Paul Schilling; The Metro Band; Yvette Monell Photographer, St. Augustine; and Phebe Wehr, St. Augustine.
