Weyman Hudgins has considered music an avocation since his college days at the University of Tampa.  As tenor soloist, he toured south Florida with the concert choir and was a charter member of the Tampa Lyric Theater.  He has sung with First Coast Opera beginning with the first concert, An Evening of Opera, Voices of Love, EMMA Goes to the Opera, and in December of 2000 was seen as King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors.  He has performed with the Wyoming Valley Oratorio Society and the Singers' Guild of Scranton, PA, as well as the Abbey Players in the Poconos.  Weyman has sung locally with the St. Augustine Community Chorus and Chamber Choir, the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus and the Trinity Episcopal Parish choir.  He has performed both tenor and baritone solos in the Mozart Requiem and baritone solos in Faure's Requiem.
