Jacqueline Quirk
returns to the USA after performing and studying in Europe. She was the soprano
soloist with Pictura
Canta and
Opera Plus in Brussels,
Belgium. Prior to Europe, Jacqueline was a Young Artist with the Hawaii
Opera Theatre, and the soprano soloist with Saint
Andrew's Cathedral. A versatile singer, Jacqueline is
equally at home in opera, operetta, oratorio, and musical theatre. She has
worked regionally in New York City and New Jersey at various venues, such as, Don't
Tell Mama's, The
Little Orchestra Society, Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center), Club Bene Dinner
Theatre, and the Plaza Hotel. Future engagements include the
title role in Puccini's Madame
Butterfly, directed by Licia Albanese (Central
Florida Lyric Opera). Other roles include, Antonia in The
Tales of Hoffmann, Lucia in Lucia
di Lammermoor, Violetta in La Traviata, and the soprano soloist in
Handel's Messiah. |
